Back in Texas...

Julia deciding that the couch was not as "scary" as her room.
Bedtime with Daddy.

Sweet girl washing brother's back.

This is how I found Colton around 11pm... pantless and diaperless.
I am a marvel at putting on a diaper without waking a child.

When asked not to put her sandbox sand in the yard Julia replied,
"I'm planting my plants mom."

Stylin in their new rainhats and playing with the ice cream playdoh factory.

Christmas fun... (in Minnesota)

Julia's first snowman!
Julia and Daddy before building their snowman.
Daddy and Uncle Shawn - assisting Julia with the snowman.

Aunt Nalani with Colton's new puppets...

Santa Cuties

Julia and Colton loved Santa. Colton was able to play with his jingle bells and Julia asked for a "pink dinosaur" for Christmas.

Fun with Julia and Evelyn

The girls loved their first movie in a theater (Princess and the Frog) - they wore their jammies.
Dressing up with Evelyn's play-clothes, I believe that is a garter on her head...
Watching a movie together (one of many,) apparently Evelyn had more stamina this night.
Christmas Eve in their pretty dresses together.

Julia's 4th Birthday

We started Julia's birthday with her opening gifts from us in the morning we followed up with a birthday party complete with a "pink frog cake" (thanks to Kroger bakery) that she had been requesting for a year... no idea why. We also decided to rent a bounce house which was great as I was having a hard time coming up with ideas for games for about 15 kids... it was a great day and so fun to see her recognize it was all for her on her special day. We love our sweet girl - happy 4th birthday Julia!

Visit from Nica Grandma

In November we were fortunate to have a visit from Muriel a.k.a. Nica Grandma. We baked a lot as seen in the photo above of the bread making. We enjoyed beautiful weather, many stories, and great food. Also, a big thanks to Grandma for Mommy and Daddy's date night.
